The Seafarer Beach Resort is a family owned and operated beachfront resort located in Englewood, Florida.

The Seafarer facility spans the width of the long, narrow barrier island of Manasota Key, offering both bay and beach access.  The peace and tranquility of life on Manasota Key can be a welcome respite from everyday responsibilities,
as well as from the more well-known and, therefore, more crowded vacation destinations.

Manasota Key is Southwest Florida's best kept secret.  There are no high-rises, no crowds, no condos,
and no traffic lights, just a two-lane road and pristine beaches.

Englewood is known as a place "unspoiled by high rises and high prices."  The white sand beach - full of shells, the famous prehistoric shark teeth, and an abundance of wildlife - stretches for miles.
From May to October, loggerhead sea turtles can be seen returning to the shores of Manasota Key to lay their eggs, and the manatees crowd Lemon Bay in the winter and spring.  Blue herons, egrets, and tortoises are regular and welcome visitors to our grounds.
Adjacent to Seafarer's own private beach are the 14 acres of beach and sand dunes of Manasota Beach Park, which offers a variety of amenities, including year-round life guards, sheltered picnic areas, and barbeque pits.

As one of only two small resorts among the private homes and lush tropical foliage of northern Manasota Key, the Seafarer offers its guests remote, uncrowded beaches while being only minutes away from the restaurants, stores, and conveniences of Venice and Englewood.
